Community Outreach

• Set up information tables through out various communities 

• Provide Sickle Cell Presentations 

• Building a coalition of professional support by going into our local hospitals and promote better care and treatment for patients who suffer with SCA 

• Provide annual on-going activities that promote community awareness

Adult Support

• Provide monthly support group meetings 

• Provide a support network with medical and social service agencies

•  Provide moral support for each other

Youth Mentoring Group

• Identify and develop pain management skills 

• Self esteem issues 

• Develop interpersonal skills 

• Planning for the future (entrepreneurship)
